Blog: Help!

Obviously, I haven't posted in a while.  I could have if I wanted to, so I won't make the "moving" excuse.  My scale is packed in a box somewhere, but I could have found it if it had been important to me.

I don't want to make a mistake here.  I don't feel like keeping up with the blog right now, but I also don't want to let this fall away and be forgotten.  Please post your comments of recommendations.  I definitely need accountability, but, ever since the move, updating this blog has felt unnatural.  Part of that has to do with changed eating patterns that kind of prevent me from doing a poor job (my father-in-law stays with us throughout the week and this means we have good, home-cooked meals on a regular basis).  Another factor is the more activity/walking that comes with living here.  There is work to do around the house and outside, and I will be walking to a lot of destinations, including work.  I guess these factors make calorie counting difficult and, in my mind, it feels unnecessary.  Yet, I know the danger that comes with that.

So, what would you do?

Thanks.

  3. Ok, I don't know why that didn't go through. I was going to say go for it and see what happens; it is not irreversible. However, you do have a scale and can continue to monitor that. If you were to gain 5 pounds here in the middle of the summer that would be unprecedented since you began this blog and would indicate that the calorie counting was having an effect. If, however, you see no ill-effect then you can keep going.
